For those who wear had contact lenses, move them at least 7 days prior to having lasik. In case of wearing glasses and never wearing contact lenses, an appointment for eye examination for lasik can be immediately made.<\/li><li>On the date of eye assessment, do not drive by yourself as eye drops for pupillary dilation will be used which may cause you blurred eyesight and will be back to normal within 4-6 hours.<\/li><li>As eye assessment before lasik requires personal information, those who are interested in having lasik should meet the ophthalmologist who have expertise in lasik for examination and consultation to seek the best alternative for each patient.<\/li><\/ul><h4><strong>Post-lasik practices <\/strong><strong>in the first week<\/strong><\/h4><ul><li>Do not let water or dust get into the eyes.<\/li><li>Cover the eyes before going to bed to prevent the eyes from being touched within the first 7 days.<\/li><li>Use eye drops to prevent infection.
