Gastrointestinal Center, Thainakarin Hospital provides treatment to patients aged 15 years old or above who have gastrointestinal disorders. Our treatment is provided by specialized medical staff and standard medical equipment to ensure fast, correct and accurate diagnosis.

Service/Diagnosis/Treatment

  • Providing diagnosis, treatment and consultations about disease or abnormalities in gastrointestinal system and liver.
  • Gastrointestinal tumor and cancer screening in high-risk group including people whose family members have caner and tumor.
  • Providing consultations for treatment and prevention of gastrointestinal system and liver disease e.g. vaccination to prevent Hepatitis and guidelines for exercises and food selection for patients having fatty liver disease.
  • Esophagogastroduodenoscopy ( EGD) and Colonoscopy using Narrow Band Imaging (NBI) technique AI technology to diagnose colon cancer.
  • Capsule Endoscopy.

  • Capsule Endoscopy.  
  • Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)

Gastrointestinal diseases

  • Gastroesophageal reflux disease. For those having the symptoms within oesophagus, they will have heartburn, regurgitation of food or sour liquid. For those having symptoms outside oesophagus, they will feel tightness in the throat, chronic cough, chest pain, sputum, tooth decay or chronic bad breath.
  • Foreign matters remaining in gastrointestinal system e.g. coin, fishbone, animal bone
  • Stomach pain due to gastritis, peptic ulcer and ulcerative colitis.
