The rooms are decorated colorfully to create relaxing atmosphere with extra care from pediatrics and nurses who have been trained with child psychology. Therefore, seeing a doctor is not a fearful event for your children anymore.
Pediatrics Department, Thainakarin Hospital provides treatment and care for several child diseases for newborn babies to children aged 15 years old. Our general pediatricians and specialized pediatricians are available to provide close monitoring and treatment. We have colorful playroom in which your children can enjoy their activities without concern about hygienic and safety problems. Our nurses and personnel are also available to provide assistance when needed.
Service
- Currently, Pediatrics Department provides treatment and care for several child diseases for newborn babies to children aged 15 years old by general pediatricians and specialized pediatricians for 24 hours (Thai board and/or American board).
- We have the pediatricians who obtain Certificate in Pediatrics and have expertise in child emergency and illness to stand by at the emergency room to perform treatment at nighttime.
- Also, the Nursery Department provides baby bathing and breastfeeding training to mothers as well as encouraging and promoting breastfeeding to mothers. We make health education VDO together with direct training given by nurses who specialize in newborn babies. Newborn hearing screen is also arranged.
- Well-baby clinic is separated from sick children zone. Their playrooms are also separated.
- Inpatient wards on the 8th Floor are arranged for hospitalized children.
- Nursery Department is located on the 5th Floor and provides both normal nursery service and nursery intermediate care (NICU). Babies having special cases, such as infected babies, are isolated from other babies.

- Allergy and asthma in children (including skin prick test, blood test to find allergens)
- Gastrointestinal tract and liver diseases in children
- Pediatric hematology
- Endocrine system disease in children (e.g. short stature, precocious puberty, etc.)
- Behavioral symptoms or problems in collaboration with child and adolescent psychiatrists
- Neonatal jaundice
